OF ANY OTHER LIFE
Those with the most power to wield in the United States - politicians, corporations and their CEOs, the military industrial complex - force feed the public racialized capitalism and delusional white supremacy and tell us turning on our neighbor will keep us safe. We are not safe. What is happening in Palestine, the Congo, Tigray and Sudan is inextricably connected to Hurricane Helene, Hurricane Milton, to police brutality, Covid denial, to the ableism I face as a chronically ill and disabled person. My child’s safety is directly linked to the safety of the child in Palestine whose body I see exploded on my tiny screen.
